Poetry Friday: “Pumpkin”
I’ve just returned from my 4-day workshop at Highlights, so I’m a bit groggy! What a week! I’ll tell you more next week – but for now, here’s a seasonal poem I wrote last fall, on a poetry prompt from another writer/blogger:
Ground was dry.
Watered well and wished for pie.
I cleaned my plate!
Gourd things come to those who wait.
