Poetry Friday: National Poetry Month continues, along with my recuperation

poetryfridaybutton-fulllI’m still recuperating from my ACL reconstruction surgery last Fri., but I just wanted to remind you that Irene Latham’s Progressive Poem is continuing all month. A different poet adds a line to a poem each day, and by the end of April we’ll have a complete poem! (I’ll be contributing my part this coming Tue.)

For all of today’s Poetry Friday links, visit Amy at The Poem Farm, where she has all the info and a baseball poem – and be sure to stop by each of the 2014 Kidlitosphere Progressive Poem Contributors (below) and see how the poem…progresses!

  1. Thank you, Matt, for these important reminders. With all of the hubbub today at TPF, I did not do this and it is great that you did. SOON you will be out there! I am glad you will be able to enjoy this pretty season outdoors. Take good care. Happy Poetry Friday!
