As I mentioned last week when I shared my cherita about Quechee Gorge, VT, I had a feeling at least a few poems were going to spring out of our trip. Sure enough, I have another one – this time, inspired by my 5-year-old daughter who finds art everywhere she goes:
That’s right, whether it’s stones in a river or the crumbs on her plate, anything can become art in her hands. And I couldn’t be more proud.

What a wonderful poem for an artistic little girl. This is an adorable photo, Matt, so congratulations for having such a passionate art enthusiast in your home. If you would like to share your poem and photo for my #EmbraceableSummer collection, I think it would be a lovely fit for the Children’s Corner.

I do love that creative spirit she has. Yesterday, she took the inner lining of a cardboard box and turned it into a raspberry chip ice cream cone! Thanks so much for your kind words.

Thanks for this today Matt. My two year old grandchildren find beauty everywhere. Taking them for walks makes me do it too. Recently my granddaughter drew ‘butterflies’ on my legs. I would share the photograph with you if I could figure out how.
