I’m so lucky to live here in the Pacific Northwest, where it rarely gets too hot or too cold, though we do moan constantly about the rain. 😉

It’s funny…we’ve had -60 wind chills in the winter and near 100-degree temps in the summer, and I’ll take the summer every time!

Oh yes, what a way to beat the heat. It seems to have spread quite far this week. We had fun cooling off in the river.

We try to get to the beach as much as possible (the coast is just over an hour from where we are), and today we’re heading an hour north to Quechee Gorge, VT!

We’ve had extremes this year…3-4 days of sweltering heat & humidity followed by 2-3 days of cool & cloudy 50-degrees.!
